OUR PROGRAMS

bI-aNNUAL CAMPS

Our Summer Camp takes place in the first two weeks of June. We host high school students in week one, and host junior high students in week two. Each camp is five days and four nights. A morning and evening chapel service allows campers to connect with God. Campers also are divided into four teams to connect with each other. Teams Pu’uwai (Heart), Na’au (Mind), ‘Uhane (Soul/Spirit), and Mana (Strength) are names we adopted in 2003. Each year, campers return with a vengeance to join their teammates for fun and competitive team and individual challenges.

Winter Camp takes place in the first week of January. We combined junior and senior high for this camp. Our winter camps are usually three nights and four days. Similar to Summer Camps, a morning and evening chapel service allows campers to connect with God. Campers also are divided into four teams to connect with each other. Different than our summer camps, winter camps are smaller, cheaper, and more relaxed.

uNIfied WORSHIP NIGHTS

Several times a year, we organize a worship night for both youth and adults to attend. On a normal evening, two to three praise bands will lead, a speaker will share a word, and those attending will be able to meet individuals from a handful of Maui churches. We begin around 6p and end at 9p. Stay tuned for our next night of worship.

local church unity

We believe that God is honored by our interaction with each other. At the heart of Unashamed Hawai’i is a love for God and a love for others. Our love for the lost drives us to outreach and serve our community, and our love for our Christian siblings drives our weekly interaction. Not only do we support event’s organized by the local churches, but we simply invest in people. Whether we attend weddings, luau, special celebrations or call to connect, we hope to be one just as Jesus and Father are one.

local community

We also believe in giving back to our community. We have been partnering with Nā Moku ʻAupuni ʻo Koʻolau Hui in Keanae, Maui for our youth camps. During each youth camp we help in the local lo’i patches. We also have been helping to repair the old YMCA campus that Nā Moku ʻAupuni ʻo Koʻolau Hui now manages.
